Washing hands campaign

Do you know The Beatles? Check out this version of their song "I Wanna Hold Your Hand".

Challenge: Can you think of a song and change the lyrics of it for the #washinghandscampaign??

Home Schooling: Wednesday 25th

Hi, everyone!! How are you today? Are you staying home and washing your hands?? I'm sure you are!
Are you doing your school homework?? I've received some mails from you, but only a few. So don't forget to comment and e-mail me.

Have you watched the videos of Matilda? Tomy has told me you've all watched Matilda last year in 5th. That's great news! The following activities can be done either in your folders/a piece of paper or in your computers.

Think about Matilda, the movie, and answer these questions:

- What's he story about?
- Where does the story take place?
- Who are the main characters
- What's your favourite character? why?
- What's your favourite part of the movie?

Now, pay attention to this Venn Diagram. We've done this before with Miss Nelson and Miss Swamp. Think of adjectives which best describe Matilda and Trunchbull. Remember to include both personality and appearance andjectives. Then think of things or characteristics they share.

Before you do it. Take a look at the image below, there you can find different adjectives related to personality and synonyms. I also leave an online activity for you to refresh your minds regarding physical description.

Home Schooling - Day 1

Hi, there! As you may know we must stay home for two weeks. But don't worry, we'll be home schooling together. You must check out this blog every day and do the activities that I'll be uploading.

Your first mission is the following: check out all the posts and pay attention to the questions you find in each of them. Write your answers and opinions in the comments box.

Remember you can send me e-mails with questions or doubts to: samanta.valiente@cardenalspinola.com.ar
I can also send you info to your school accounts so be on the alert and don't forget to check them out.

Washing hands campaign

Staying home during these coming weeks is a very important mission we have if we want to defeat COVID 19. However, it's not the only important thing to do. We should also be very careful while we wash our hands. Sometime we do it quickly and that is not correct. It should take us at least 20 seconds to wash our hands with water and soap.
Instead of counting while we are doing it, we can do something fun: singing our favourite song for 20 seconds.
I've created  a poster with pictures showing the right way to wash our hands.. I picked a song I like so that it would be more fun. Now I'm sharing it with my friends and family.

Do you like it? Do you know that song?
Now it's your turn. I challenge you to go to this website: https://washyourlyrics.com/
You just have to write the name of your song and the artist.
Download your poster and share ir with your friends and family. You can also send it to me: samanta.valiente@cardenalspinola.com.ar

Mr. Blandsworth

Last week we described Miss Swamp and Miss Nelson. We learnt lots of new adjectives.
Can you describe Mr Blandsworth?

Remenber to take into account his:

- appearance
- outfit
- personality

You can also try and draw him in a piece of paper so that we can share it with the class when we are back. You can send me e-mails with descriptions to my school account: samanta.valiente@cardenalspinola.com.ar

Miss Nelson is Back

If you liked Miss Nelson Is Missing you can not miss its sequel!
Check it out and then tell me: Which story did you like better?? Do you prefer Miss Nelson is Missing or the sequel?

Miss Nelson is Missing

Last week we read this wonderful story. Here's the video so you can refresh your minds.

1- What was your favourite part of the story?
