Create a poster to help Mary find Hosmer Angel. Don't forget to draw him and to include a description of his physical appearance and outfit. Check out the picture with all the elements you need to inlcude!

TODAY- APRIL 29
Children, remember to have the homework ready for today's lesson. You had to:
1-underline or highlight in your charts (when I was youngI used to.../ Before quarantine I used to...) state and action verbs. Remember to use one colour for STATE verbs and another colour for ACTION verbs.
2- Rewrite 5 sentences which have action verbs replacing USED TO for WOULD.
Eg: I used to play tennis.
I would play tennis.
Some of you were in doubt about some STATE verbs. Here I leave a chart that will help you a little bit.

BEFORE QUARANTINE I USED TO...
Our lives have changed quite a lot during the past weeks. I want to know what actions have changed in your daily routines.
Look at the chart beolow. You will copy it in a piece of paper and you will write sentences telling me the activities you USED TO DO but you don't do anymore.
Pay attention to my example. I also leave you some words that can help you think of the habits you've changed.

Have you watched the videos of Matilda? Tomy has told me you've all watched Matilda last year in 5th. That's great news! The following activities can be done either in your folders/a piece of paper or in your computers.
Think about Matilda, the movie, and answer these questions:

- What's your favourite part of the movie?
Now, pay attention to this Venn Diagram. We've done this before with Miss Nelson and Miss Swamp. Think of adjectives which best describe Matilda and Trunchbull. Remember to include both personality and appearance andjectives.Then think of things or characteristics they share.

Home Schooling - Day 1
Hi, there! As you may know we must stay home for two weeks. But don't worry, we'll be home schooling together. You must check out this blog every day and do the activities that I'll be uploading.
Your first mission is the following: check out all the posts and pay attention to the questions you find in each of them. Write your answers and opinions in the comments box.

Washing hands campaign
Staying home during these coming weeks is a very important mission we have if we want to defeat COVID 19. However, it's not the only important thing to do. We should also be very careful while we wash our hands. Sometime we do it quickly and that is not correct. It should take us at least 20 seconds to wash our hands with water and soap.
Instead of counting while we are doing it, we can do something fun: singing our favourite song for 20 seconds.
I've created a poster with pictures showing the right way to wash our hands.. I picked a song I like so that it would be more fun. Now I'm sharing it with my friends and family.
